This Analyst role will be based in Kampala, Uganda.
Business Analyst Role
Jobs In Uganda For Fresh Graduates 2017: Open Capital Advisors continues to expand rapidly and we are looking for exceptional graduates to join our team for a minimum 2 year commitment. In this role, you will work closely with our senior management team to develop new business and industry strategies, structure capital raises and pioneer products and services across Africa.
Nearly all of our work is client-driven. As a Business Analyst, you will work with innovative businesses across a range of high-growth industries and client types. Business Analysts work closely with our clients, often interacting with clients within the first month on staff. On a day-to-day basis, you will perform market research, develop financial models and solutions to challenging business issues, and create business strategy presentations for clients. As an Analyst, you will be expected to take ownership for large sections of client projects, interact directly and effectively with the client team, and lead some of our team’s business development efforts.
Analysts will start with a rigorous training program in strategic thinking and financial analysis and receive ongoing training and mentorship to facilitate growth and long-term success at Open Capital. This training is typically held in Nairobi, Kenya.

- Strong academic performance in any discipline and a clear understanding of business

- Desire to learn and grow while being exposed to new industries and business issues
- Ability to work effectively in teams
- Enjoy solving challenging strategic and financial questions
- Expected to complete coursework and able to begin work full time by May 2017
