Job summary:
Uganda Airlines Jobs: The Technical Assistant reports to the Line Maintenance Engineer and provides a support role to the Technicians and/or certifying engineers during maintenance and often assigned to clean, servicing under the supervision and arranging tooling & ground equipment, and cleaning of the maintenance facilities. They have a duty for identifying and reporting all safety hazards and deficiencies.

Duties and Responsibilities
- External Aircraft Cleaning and deep cabin cleaning.
- Cleaning of Tooling and Equipment
- The positioning of maintenance support equipment such as access platforms, fire extinguishers,
- Supports the ground team in regards to aircraft technical ground handling, e.g. positioning of chocks, wing walking and cones to define the safety zones
- Identifying hazards in the maintenance environment and reporting to the supervisor
- Any other duties as may be assigned by the line maintenance engineer and/or technician

- UACE or prior working experience in a maintenance setting or aviation technical environment.

Good evening, i have been trying to apply for the job of Technical assistant as well following the link provided but it states that page not found. I would also request you to clear my mind about the cabin crew applications, do I apply as a technical assistant and send a full size photo to differ or there may be other means available? Thank you.

The link works well. Use the link we put in the ” How to apply” section of the job listing. If you are applying for a technical assistant job, then you only need a passport photo size. Unfortunately, we do not know much about the cabin crew job but you cannot use the application link for one job to apply for another. One link works for one job unless stipulated otherwise.
