Job Profile:
The trainee will ensure that all orders, transfers and receivables are executed efficiently and dispatched and received in accordance with customer requirements. The trainee will fulfil all other warehouse functions as may be required by Warehouse Management.
Roles and responsibilities:
• Receive and unpack inward goods. Reconcile items received with order and delivery advice. Check quality and
condition of all goods received.
• Enter supply documentation into the computerised inventory control system. Documentation would include:
receipts, requisitions, returns, invoices, and credit notes.
• Issue goods to all wards and departments from generated picking slips.
• Maintain the department in a clean and tidy condition giving consideration to necessary safety features.
• Organise return of goods to suppliers as required ensuring that the necessary documentation is completed.
• Deliver inward goods to relevant departments daily.
Minimum Qualifications
• Relevant University Degree (Preferably in Accounting and Finance).
