The Authority is the governing body of the Capital City and administers Capital City on behalf of the central government subject to this Act. Any enactment that applies to a district shall, subject to this Act and with the necessary modifications, apply to the Authority
Job Profile:
The Fuel Agent is responsible for fueling and servicing automobiles and the safe and efficient operation of equipment used in fueling in an exterior work environment that involves diverse weather conditions.
Roles and responsibilities:
The incumbent will be responsible to the Officer Transport and Logistics for performing the following duties:-
- 1. Managing the fueling of all KCCA vehicles at the identified Petro Station in accordance with the Fleet Management Policy and guidelines.
2. Preparing and maintaining a weekly and monthly data base on fuel usage in line with the Fleet Management Policy and guidelines.
3. Monitoring and analyzing utilization of fuel by vehicles and generators, in accordance with the Fleet Management Policy and guidelines.
4. Monitoring the condition of vehicles and generators before they are fueled in accordance with the Fleet Management Policy and guidelines.
5. Monitoring work schedules of fleet and compare with fuel allocations in line with administration guidelines.
6. Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualification
Applicants should be Ugandans holding any Diploma qualification, from a recognized University or Institution. Training in health and safety, or fuel management will be an added advantage.
Working Experience
Applicants should have a minimum of one (1) year relevant working experience in fleet operations/management in Government or from a reputable organization.
