Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) Profile:
The Authority is a corporate body with perpetual succession and may sue and be sued in its corporate name and do, enjoy or suffer anything that may be done, enjoyed or suffered by a body corporate. The Authority is the governing body of the Capital City and administers Capital City on behalf of the central government subject to this Act. Any enactment that applies to a district shall, subject to this Act and with the necessary modifications, apply to the Authority
Job Profile:
Performs beginning level community development work in monitoring and evaluating Community Development Programs: assists in compiling performance data and reports; analyzes and processes program data: and performs related duties as required.
Roles and responsibilities:
The incumbent will be responsible to the Officer Community Development for performing the following duties:-
- 1.Providing support and participating in community development initiatives in respective Division.
2. Partaking in sensitizing communities on their rights, job titles and obligations in line with the Directorate guidelines.
3. Providing Support in the creation of quality and timely monthly reports and data within the respective Division in accordance with the Directorate guidelines.
4. Providing support in creation and growth of functional groups for improving welfare of the people in the various Communities in line with the Directorate guidelines.
5. Providing support in the various community trainings on literacy programs and income-generating activities in line with the Directorate guidelines. 6. Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualification
Applicants should be Ugandans holding a Diploma in either Gender and Development Studies, or Social Sciences, or Business Administration and Community Development, or Rural Development from a recognized University or Institution.
Working Experience
Applicants should have a minimum of one (1) year working experience in community development work.
