Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) Profile:
The Authority is a corporate body with perpetual succession and may sue and be sued in its corporate name and do, enjoy or suffer anything that may be done, enjoyed or suffered by a body corporate. The Authority is the governing body of the Capital City and administers Capital City on behalf of the central government subject to this Act. Any enactment that applies to a district shall, subject to this Act and with the necessary modifications, apply to the Authority
Job Profile:
Collecting, compiling and disseminating employment information to those who need it.
Roles and responsibilities:
The incumbent will be responsible to the Supervisor Employment Services Bureau for performing the following duties:-
- 1. Implementing employment services programs at the KCCA bureau.
2. Registering all youths accessing the bureau for services.
3. Conducting training for youth.
4. Providing Job related information to youths.
5. Networking with employers and placing youths in employment.
6. Networking with training institutions that provides skills development programs.
7. Providing technical advice to both employers and employees on employer- employee relations.
8. Guiding Job seekers about places of further employment opportunities and skills development.
9. Collecting, compiling and disseminating employment information to those who need it.
10. Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualification
Applicants should be Ugandans holding an honours Bachelor’s Degree in either Arts or Social Sciences or Social Work and Social Administration, or Development Studies, or Human Resource Management, or Organization Psychology, or any related field from a recognized University or Institution.
Working Experience
Applicants should have a minimum of two (2) years relevant working experience at Assistant Officer or Officer level in Government or from a reputable organization.
