Wellsite Geologists
- Vacant positions in Geosciences department for Wellsite Geologists.
- Excellent career opportunity for experienced and non-experienced professionals.
- Positions located on Site under rotational status with potential periods in Kampala office depending on operational activity.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Job holder will co-coordinate and conduct on the field all the geological operations including but not limited to cuttings description, data acquisitions and follow-up of contractor’s performance for services such as Mudlogging, Electrical Logging and Logging While Drilling.
- Job holder role will be to deliver reliable and fit for purpose data with a high impact on operational excellence and Safety through proper prediction and evaluation of the geological hazards.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelors of Geology or other Geosciences disciplines
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in multi-cultural environment
- Practical experience in the field is an added advantage (particularly candidates getting an internationally recognized certification)
- Willingness to learn and share, adaptability, rigor and pro-activity are critical behaviors required for the position
- Proficient in MS Office
