Impact Consulting is a global network of 5,000+ aspiring and professional consultants from 100+ countries, who provide high-quality consulting services for social impact organizations. We operate a quasi-probono management consulting model with projects aligned to United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. Most recently, we have opened up a Consulting hub in Kampala to provide social impact consulting services to Corporates, NGOs and Social enterprises in Uganda and the East African region at large.
Job Profile
Marketing directors are responsible for their company’s marketing and communications strategies, as well as overall branding and image.
Roles and Responsibilities
• Develop and execute the local Hubs marketing strategy.
• Plan, develop and deliver content across the local Hubs LinkedIn, Instagram & Facebook channels, as well as in the local Hubs Group on the platform.
• Publish engaging content (images / videos / infographics).
• Engage with local Hub members and clients to source and develop engaging posts
Minimum Qualifications
• At least 3 years experience in a similar role especially with service marketing or at management level in a reputable organization within the East African Region
• Candidate with some consulting experience shall be highly preferred
• Demonstrated experience in trending digital marketing approaches as well as approaches that maximize value from marketing spend
• Experience in content development for various media platforms (Radio, TV, website, Social media) as well as an eye for quality design and visuals is highly preferred
• Proactive Self starter with a growth mindset, ability to learn quickly and take initiative
• Demonstrated experience in identifying and managing partner relationships
• Strong Communication skills (Oral and Written)
• Fluency in English and Swahili
• Ability to commit to a minimum of 6 hours/week for a 9 months tenure
• Residing around Kampala region
