The Total Group has been in Uganda since 1955 through the Marketing and Services division for which it is the market leader with over 129 fuel stations. In 2010, the company also established an exploration and production affiliate Total E&P Uganda.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Total E&P Uganda is offering exciting entry level opportunities for drilling engineers and supervisors. Successful candidates will undergo a 6 month training drilling program at the International French Petroleum Institute (IFP) in France (taught in English). This opportunity is open to young university graduates willing to specialize in the Drilling, Wells, and Fluids disciplines.
- You will then be assigned on-site, on a rotation basis, to first get familiar with the operations and the equipment used, and then to supervise Drilling & Wells operations. Following your first assignment on-site, you will then continue with a supervisor position in the field or you will take an engineering assignment in the office.
Minimum Qualifications
WHO CAN APPLY?
Students with a Bachelor’s in general engineering, mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, industrial engineering and petroleum engineering degree from a recognized University are encouraged to apply.
ELIGIBILITY
Applicants must meet the below criteria:
- Ugandan national
- Below 28 years of age
- First Class Degree or Upper Second-Class Degree in Bachelor of Engineering
SELECTION PROCESS
Shortlisted candidates will go through panel interviews. On completion of the training program, successful candidates will be offered employment.
