Job Summary:
The Parts Administrator – Quick Service is responsible for parts administration, processes, accountability & procedures in a timely and accurate manner at the express store.
Roles and responsibilities:
- Prepare service packs for vehicles pre-booked into workshop
- Return any surplus parts correctly in a timely manner ensuring that the stock is controlled.
- Fully accountable for express store parts & lubricants.
- Ordering of parts & lubricants from the main warehouse in line with the parts processes.
- Making and issuing of both service & repairs quotations.
- Measure fill rates and capture lost sales
- Making quotations for express service customers.
- Issuing quick service parts/lubricants swiftly & promptly against Job cards as per the parts processes.
- Preparing the weekly express stock report & reconciliation within the set timeline.
- Report any stock variances to the inventory auditor & ensure closure of the same.
- Weekly counting & reconciliation of express store parts & lubricants.
- Keep track of service ensuring that there are no shortages of service parts.
- Adhere to the parts processes & HSEQ policies.
- Ensure One Part One Location at the Express Store.
- Participating in Nissan sponsored training and programs
- Perform all duties in line with the HSEQ guidelines
- Performing other duties as assigned by the Service /Workshop Manager
Qualifications
At a minimum, the incumbent should have the following qualifications:
- At least Degree in Business Studies or its equivalent.
- Basic Automotive product knowledge
- Honest and Prudent
- Knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Basic business math skills
