Responsibilities:
- The Program Officer(s) will ensure timely and cost-effective implementation of program activities, as well as monitoring activity implementation.
- The job holder will support the program coordinator on budgeting, documentation, partner relations, and reporting.
Minimum Qualifications for Save the Children Uganda Jobs 2021:
- Bachelor’s degree required in Public Health, Nursing, Environmental / Community Health, social sciences or related fields.
- A minimum of two years of experience in disease control.
- Proven ability to manage relationships with multi-sectoral stakeholders and technical teams in health, nutrition, WASH, education, gender and other relevant sectors.
- Experience as a program or field officer required.
- Previous work experience in Karamoja and sound understanding of the Karamoja context will be an added advantage
- Written and oral fluency in English, and local languages spoken in the district is a requirement.
- Ability to ride a motorcycle will be an added advantage
