Kakira Sugar Limited is a leading sugar manufacturer in Uganda. KSL boasts of two (2) sugar estates, one in Kakira — Jinja and the other in Kayunga.
Job Summary:
To drive company vehicles safely for official duties as required.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Drive the Company vehicle allocated to you on both short and long official journeys, as and when necessary.
- Attend basic maintenance such as inflating/replacing tyres topping up oil, water levels etc.
- Ensure good overall working conditions inclusive of fuel level.
- Maintain a logbook of all journeys and fuel issues.
- Park the vehicle every evening in the official parking yard.
- Identify and report faults in/on the vehicle to the immediate Supervisor as soon as possible for remedial action.
Minimum Qualifications
- Knowledge, qualifications & Experience Education: Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE)
- Experience, Skills and Competencies: A valid driving permit free of any endorsements for heavy vehicles/pickups with at least two (2) years of driving experience.
- Renumeration: Attractive renumeration package
