Job Summary:
To oversee security operations of the location.
Roles and responsibilities:
- Check of material movements (Incoming / Outgoing / Finished goods / Raw materials etc)
- Forward first-hand information to Management of any security lapses
- To forward MIS Reports as required by the management to assess the performance of the location and allow for faster decision-making / Communicate day to day operations to Surveillance Officer
- Exercise watch on security operations at the location
- Imparting training to the security service provider as per location requirement and post wise
- Ensure no breach of security
- Generate MIS Reports
- Firefighting in case of any eventuality
Qualifications
Education and Professional Qualifications
- The candidate should have UACE Complete.
- Diploma in any field will be an added advantage.
Work Experience
- Should have an experience of minimum 2 to 3 years as Security Supervisor / Security Officer in a reputed security service agency handed material movements and visitors.
- Experience of CCTV operations and Access Control System
- Experience in basic Firefighting technics
- Hands on basic First Aid knowledge
Desired Profile
- Knowledge of Gate controls, Material movements (Incoming / Outgoing / finished goods / raw material etc).
- Knowledge of visitor’s management system and vendor movements.
- Knowledge of CCTV, Access Control System operations & fighting system.
- Should possess good English communication skills (written & spoken) and local language.
- Should be below the age of 30 yrs.
- Should be active and possess commanding quality.
- Should not be a resident of local area.
- Should be able to work in shifts and flexible to relocate within Uganda.
