Our mission is to ignite women’s leadership, amplify their voices, and deepen their impact in recreating peace through research, advocacy, holistic healing, and skills/movement building.

Job Summary:

The drivers will be responsible for vehicle driving, mechanical maintenance, and vehicle control under the supervision of the Administrative Assistant.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive project vehicles as required.
  • Maintain vehicle logbooks and report any issues.
  • Ensure vehicle cleanliness and regular maintenance.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and organizational policies.
  • Assist with the transportation needs of senior officials and staff.

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:

  • Ordinary Level Certificate of Education.
  • Valid driver’s license classes B, CM, and DL.
  • At least five years of experience as a driver in a Non-Governmental Organisation.
  • Experience in driving senior officials.
  • History of a safe driving record.
  • Experience driving 4X4 vehicles on rough terrain.
  • Defensive driving experience.
  • Knowledge of upcountry regions in Uganda is an added advantage.
