About Makerere University Walter Reed Project (MUWRP):
MUWRP, established in 2002, focuses on HIV vaccine development and research, enhancing vaccine testing capabilities in Uganda. It operates under the Department of Defense (DoD) United States HIV Research Program, based at the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research (WRAIR).

Description:
MUWRP is seeking Data Clerks to support data entry, cleaning, and management for the CASCADE program, PEPFAR initiatives, and other research activities across MUWRP sites and supported health centers. This role involves ensuring accurate and timely data entry, supporting data quality processes, and collaborating closely with program teams and the MUWRP Strategic Information department.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma in Computer Science or Statistics.
  • Minimum of 2 years relevant experience.
  • Experience in data entry in a clinical/biomedical research environment is advantageous.
  • Fluency in verbal and written English.
  • Highly organized with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Personal integrity, reliability, and dependability.
