Job Summary: The National Commercial Sales Manager (Agro-input Products) will lead a dynamic team in driving growth for Grainpulse Ltd’s agricultural product portfolio. This role involves strategic planning, implementation, and tracking of sales, marketing, distribution, and product development programs aimed at commercial farmers and key accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic sales, marketing, and distribution plans for agro-input products.
  • Prepare and manage sales, distribution, and marketing budgets.
  • Analyze market trends and prepare sales forecasts and reports.
  • Represent Grainpulse Ltd at trade association meetings and industry events.
  • Lead product development initiatives and pricing strategies.
  • Establish and maintain a consistent corporate image across all product lines.
  • Identify and pursue business development opportunities.
  • Develop partnerships to enhance synergies within the Grainpulse ecosystem.
  • Engage in company projects and activities as assigned.

Qualifications, Skills, and Work Experience:

  • Education: University Degree in Agriculture with a focus on Soil and Crop Nutrition, Marketing, Sales, or related fields.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in sales, marketing, and/or distribution, preferably in agro-inputs like fertilizer.
  • Strong command of English; knowledge of Ugandan local languages is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; ability to develop quantitative reports.
  • Strong business acumen, strategic thinking, and results-driven approach.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to conduct extensive field visits.
