About the Company:
Rushere Cooperative Savings and Credit Society Limited is a registered SACCO based in Rushere Town Council. The SACCO operates in the districts of Kiruhura, Kazo, Kamwenge, Ibanda, Mbarara, Sembabule, Kyegegwa, and Lyantonde. We are dedicated to providing financial services to our members with a focus on teamwork, transparency, customer care, professionalism, integrity, efficiency, and effectiveness.
Job Summary:
The Accounts Officer will be responsible for monitoring accounts and financial operations, preparing monthly and quarterly financial reports, reconciling transactions, and managing debtors and creditors records.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Monitor accounts and financial operations.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports.
- Reconcile transactions.
- Manage debtors and creditors records.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration (Accounting and Finance), or a related field from a recognized institution.
- CPA holder, at least level two.
- 3-5 years of experience in accounts, with at least 2 years at a supervisory level.
Competencies:
- Excellent communication skills.
- Computer literacy and knowledge of accounting packages.
- Ability to work independently.
- High levels of integrity and confidentiality.
- Deadline-oriented.
- Understanding of the business environment.
