ENCOT operates a network of 10 branches located in Hoima, Masindi, Kigumba, Kagadi, Nakasongola, Kawempe, Luweero, Bweyale, Katikara, and Karuguuza. ENCOT’s mission is to provide microfinance services to low-income smallholder farmer communities, particularly women, to help them create their own paths out of poverty through job creation.
Position: Credit Officers
Purpose:
The Credit Officers will be responsible for the direct sales of loans and credit services offered by ENCOT to customers, ensuring 100% recovery of assigned loan portfolios (both current and past-due). This role requires the application of best practices and a focus on customer satisfaction, in alignment with ENCOT’s strategic objectives and credit policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Mobilization and Training: Engage and train clients about loan products and processes.
- Loan Processing: Facilitate the processing of loan applications.
- Loan Recoveries: Ensure timely recovery of loans.
- Customer Care: Provide excellent customer service and support.
- Loan Utilization Follow-Up: Monitor and follow up on the proper utilization of loan funds.
- Delinquency Management: Manage and mitigate loan delinquencies.
- Reporting: Prepare and submit required reports.
- Contribution to Organizational Development: Participate actively in the overall development of the organization.
- Other Duties: Perform any other tasks as assigned that can be competently and professionally executed.
Education and Experience:
- Diploma in Social Work, Education, Business Studies, or any other related field.
- No prior experience required.
- MUST be able to ride a motorcycle.
- Age: 27 years and below.

- Fluency in English and some local languages.
