Job Description:
NOVA Microfinance is seeking motivated individuals with strong leadership qualities to join our team. As part of our mission to provide affordable, hassle-free credit to low-income earners in Uganda’s informal sector, we are hiring for the positions of Branch Managers and Loan Officers.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or Diploma
- Experience:
- Loan Officers: Minimum of 1 year experience in the financial sector
- Branch Managers: Minimum of 2 years experience in the financial sector
- Language Proficiency: Ability to speak English, Luganda, and Lusoga
- Technical Skills: Experience with cashless transaction systems
Preferred Candidates:
- Females are encouraged to apply
Responsibilities:
Branch Managers:
- Lead and manage branch operations
- Ensure team meets financial and operational goals
- Develop and implement branch strategies to increase outreach and performance
Loan Officers:
- Evaluate loan applications and documentation
- Conduct customer assessments and verifications
- Manage loan disbursement and recovery processes
