Internship Descriptions
1. Technology Internship
Scope of Work:
As a Technology Intern at ASIGMA, you will engage in various projects to enhance your skills in coding, programming, system development, application development, software design, UI, and UX.
Responsibilities:
- Write, test, and debug code for various software applications using languages like Python, Java, JavaScript, or C++.
- Assist in collecting and analyzing user requirements to develop precise system specifications.
- Contribute to both front-end and back-end development for mobile and web applications.
- Learn and apply diverse software design patterns to ensure your code is reusable and maintainable.
- Conduct user research to understand needs, preferences, and behaviors, and create wireframes, mock-ups, and prototypes using design tools.
- Engage in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives as part of an Agile development team.
- Research and propose new technologies or methodologies to enhance the development process and improve user experience.
Qualifications:
- Students in their penultimate year with a minimum Second Class Upper.
- Strong interest in coding and software development.
- Familiarity with programming languages like Python, Java, JavaScript, or C++.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
2. Investment Internship
Scope of Work:
As an Investment Intern at ASIGMA, you will immerse yourself in a professional setting where hands-on experience and skill development go hand in hand.
Responsibilities:
- Gather and analyze data from diverse sources to decode market trends and economic conditions.
- Assist in crafting and maintaining financial models for forecasting and valuation.
- Track the performance of existing investments, prepare regular reports for the investment team, assess portfolio risks, and suggest mitigation strategies.
- Participate in the due diligence process for potential investments, including site visits, management meetings, and review of legal and compliance documents.
Qualifications:

3. Research & Learning Internship
Scope of Work:

Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive reviews of existing literature, academic papers, industry reports, and other sources to gather insightful information on specific topics.
- Gather primary and secondary data through surveys, interviews, and various other data collection methods.
- Use statistical tools and software to analyze both quantitative and qualitative data, uncovering trends, patterns, and valuable insights.
- Assist in writing and editing research reports, white papers, and policy briefs.
- Summarize research findings and prepare engaging presentations for both internal and external stakeholders.
- Help create and develop learning materials, such as training manuals, e-learning modules, and instructional videos.
