Job Summary:
The Finance Graduate Trainee position at Food for the Hungry Uganda is designed to coach and prepare staff for filling vacant positions within the organization, particularly in the Finance and Administration department. The incumbent will support the Finance Assistant in various tasks such as preparing account journals, filing finance documents, reviewing petty cash transactions, preparing payment vouchers, and handling correspondences between finance and other departments. Ensuring compliance with FH policies and procedures is a key responsibility.

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Accounting or related discipline from a recognized university or institution (graduated not earlier than 2022)
- Any level of CPA/ACCA qualification is an added advantage
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Internet, as well as accounting systems (specifically MS Dynamics)
- Vibrant personal relationship with Christ, understanding and application of FH Foundational Principles, Vision, and Mission
- Ability to develop and maintain good working relationships with colleagues
- Effective and efficient management of resources
- Adherence to FH values, principles, and policies
- Leadership skills and the ability to supervise others
- Proficiency in spoken and written English
