Angal St. Luke Profile:
Angal St. Luke is a PNFP Hospital owned by Nebbi Catholic Diocese and located in Nebbi District, Padyere County, Nyaravur Sub County. It is 3.5 Km off Pakwach-Arua Highway on the road to Parombo Town Board. Angal St. Luke Hospital was founded in the 1940’s and has steadily evolved to provide preventive, promotive, curative and palliative services expected of a general hospital. It serves as one of the general referral health facilities in the district, often times the main referral facility for Padyere Health Sub-District and Nebbi District at large.
Job Summary
To ensure client’s, attendants and visitors safety and security within and bordering all the Hospital premises by monitoring and preventing wastage, damage, theft and abuse of the hospital property.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- To man and control assigned access gate points of the hospital as per the official time schedule.
- To monitor and prevent wastage, damage, theft and abuse of the Hospital property.
- To monitor and witness the receipt and offloading of medicines and sundries and other purchased items as guided.
- To maintain properly the staff registries at the main access gate point.
- To keep all types of animals away from the premises.
- To switch on and off the generator if and when requested by the Theatre staff.
- To maintain properly vehicle register at the main access gate point.
- To coordinate effectively with the nurses on the operation of the mortuary and maintain a proper record of the mortuary register.
- Performs any other relevant duty as assigned by his/her supervisor.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum of Uganda Certificate of Education
- Must a have attain a training in security services
- Must have 2 years working experience as a security officer with a reputable organization.
- Must be age between 25 to 45 years’ old

- Planning, organizing and coordinating, interpersonal relationship communication,
Ethics and integrity, time management, team player, information management, accountability, report writing and leadership
