Job Title: Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Roles and responsibilities
- Participate to the review of documents and files in the Electronic Data Management System issued by the EPC to ensure they are of sufficient quality to be utilized for MIE activities.
- Participate in inter-discipline MIE activities including maintenance and criticality strategy development, global maintenance plan preparation, writing of maintenance plans and procedures.
- Prepare complex site maintenance procedures for the maintenance of Mechanical Equipment ensuring incorporation of best practice.
- Participate in the review of documents and files in the Electronic Data Management System created and issued by the MIE Spares Contractor.
- Ensure adequate preparation, review and validation of the Maintenance dossiers
- Preparation of Company Management System (CMS) documents within area of responsibility
- Assistance to the Commissioning/start up teams and Production/Maintenance/Inspection COMPANY teams as required.
- Develop Digital Tools and applications to that are required to effectively manage maintenance operations post Startup
- Develop technical Scopes of Work for Specialized Maintenance Contracts (SMCs) and be the technical duet for the Call for Tender process.
- Provide specialist technical/engineering advice and guidance to site personnel on the operation and maintenance of rotating equipment ensuring highest safety standards, a timely response to queries and minimal disruption to operations
- Contribute to the ongoing monitoring of strategies for the maintenance and operation of plant/equipment to ensure that all plant and equipment meets verification and compliance requirements
Minimum Qualifications
- Master’s degree in mechanical engineering is preferred or bachelor’s degree in Mechanical engineering from an accredited university.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience on Mechanical Equipment systems and maintenance in a relevant industry.
