Program Overview: The internship program at Renew Capital offers a unique opportunity for fresh graduates to kickstart their careers in impact investing. Through a comprehensive program structured into two parts, interns will gain valuable insights into the impact investing industry and contribute to meaningful projects that drive economic growth in Africa.
Roles and Responsibilities: Interns will be assigned roles based on their interests, skills, and background, working closely with Renew Capital teams in Ethiopia, Kenya, Mozambique, Uganda, or Rwanda. Roles include:
- Consulting Professional: Managing key deliverables under international development projects.
- Entrepreneur/Problem Solver: Assisting portfolio companies in solving business challenges.
- Investment Professional: Evaluating deal opportunities and honing financial modeling skills.
- Data and Research Professional: Conducting cutting-edge research on emerging African markets.
- Finance: Immersing in financial management and analysis within Renew Capital.
- Marketing: Contributing to marketing initiatives and telling Africa’s story as a land of opportunity.
