Creative and Digital Marketing Officer – Temporary Full-time

Job Description: NCBA Bank Uganda is seeking a Creative and Digital Marketing Officer to support the building of a strong, reputable, and trusted brand positioning NCBA Uganda as a leading digital-first, innovative bank. The role involves creating visually impactful designs for various mediums, executing digital communications strategy, and ensuring brand consistency across all online platforms.

Key Accountabilities (Duties and Responsibilities):

Financial (15%):

  • Support budget planning, control, and expense management objectives by project.
  • Manage budgets for assigned areas and ensure adherence to Finance/Procurement processes.

Internal Business Processes (30%):

  • Communicate across the business as a champion of the company’s digital marketing & social media guidelines.
  • Conceptualize and create visually stunning designs for digital platforms, print, marketing materials, and promotional items.
  • Monitor and measure the success of community engagement and provide reports.
  • Develop engaging multimedia content, including animations and videos, to enhance user experience.
  • Analyze campaigns and translate data into recommendations for revising Digital & Social Media campaigns.

Customer (45%):

  • Develop and take ownership of content calendar for assigned Business Units.
  • Create, develop, and manage content for the organization’s social and web presence.
  • Design, create, and manage promotions and online ad campaigns.
  • Coordinate community postings and ensure up-to-date content on all digital assets.
  • Monitor online discussions, respond in a timely fashion, and alert relevant staff to emerging issues.

Learning and Growth (10%):

  • Continuous competence development and evaluation of digital marketing activities.
  • Train other staff on how to participate and engage in the online community.

Ideal Job Specifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Communications, Journalism, or related field.
  • Relevant professional qualification in Marketing is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • 2-3 years’ relevant experience in digital marketing and communications.
  • Strong analytical, oral, and written communication skills.
