Reports to: Head of Clinical Services
Engagement: Full-time
Duration: 1 year, renewable upon satisfactory performance
Job Summary: The Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients at the Lung Institute Clinic (LIC). This role involves delivering compassionate and patient-centered care, assisting in clinical procedures, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the well-being of patients and their families.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Recording patients’ vital signs and medical information
- Assisting with treatments, surgery, or tests
- Providing care based on patients’ care plans
- Maintaining accurate records of patients’ care and medication administration
- Performing adherence counseling and other necessary counseling for patients
- Supporting research teams operating in the clinic
- Participating in team meetings and contributing to patient care strategies
- Preparing regular reports on assigned duties
Qualifications & Skills:
- Diploma in Nursing from a recognized institution
- Valid nursing license
- In-depth knowledge of health and safety guidelines and procedures
- Outstanding organizational and multitasking skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Computer literacy
- Ability to cope in a crisis
- Excellent clinical and observational skills
