Position Details
Job Title: Biomedical Engineer
Reports to: Operations Manager
Qualifications:
- Minimum of a Diploma in Biomedical Engineering with 3 years of working experience, or
- Bachelors in Biomedical Engineering with 2 years of working experience.
Responsibilities:
- Service, maintain, and/or repair biomedical equipment.
- Advise and provide expertise to the medical staff and administration.
- Evaluate the safety, efficiency, and effectiveness of biomedical equipment.
- Maintain records, such as equipment history.
- Set standards and ensure their compliance.
- Participate in the activities of the hospital’s safety committee and check for safety hazards.
