Job Purpose

The Assistant Program Manager (Volunteer) will support the respective program in planning, implementing, and monitoring activities aimed at empowering women and children with disabilities in Northern Uganda. The role involves developing work plans, managing projects, and ensuring the successful execution of program goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in designing program plans and developing work plans.
  • Support the implementation of program activities.
  • Monitor and evaluate program progress.
  • Maintain accurate records of program activities.
  • Prepare reports on program status and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to ensure program success.
  • Communicate effectively with participants and stakeholders.
  • Promote the values and mission of SOSAI in all program activities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in social work or related fields tailored to the program.
  • Experience in program design and work plan development.
  • Proficiency in Ugandan sign language, Luo, Acholi, Alur, and English is an added advantage.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Laptop with a good Internet connection.
