Job Description:
The QHSE/Training Manager will be responsible for overseeing the quality, health, safety, and environmental management systems within the organization. This role involves training staff, conducting safety audits, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and supporting all branches and subsidiaries in and out of Uganda.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement QHSE policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments.
- Provide training and support to staff on health and safety matters.
- Ensure compliance with local and international health and safety regulations.
- Investigate incidents and accidents to identify causes and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain records of safety inspections, incidents, and training activities.
Qualifications:
- BSc / B.A in Safety Management or Oil & Gas Production.
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a safety officer or in a similar role.
- Certification in Occupational Health and Safety.
