Role Overview:
Equity Bank Uganda is seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to lead the expansion of the bank’s financial resources. This senior position is integral to driving the growth of liabilities and assets in line with set targets, managing corporate relationships, and leading the bank’s ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the growth of liabilities and assets according to set targets.
- Manage corporate relationships within agreed parameters.
- Originate and manage relationships with corporate clients and institutions.
- Ensure high standards of confidentiality and ethics to safeguard commercially sensitive information.
Desired Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Educational Background:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field from a recognized university.
- A postgraduate degree in a business-related field is an added advantage.
- Experience:
- 10-15 years of relevant banking experience, with at least 5 years in a senior managerial position in corporate banking.
- Understanding of relevant laws, regulations, and practices related to Corporate Banking products.
- Skills:
- Self-motivation and self-management.
- Outstanding problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Analytical business and investment appraisal skills.
- Business development skills.
- Customer service skills.
- Relationship and people management skills.

Work Hours:
- 8 hours per day.
