Electricity Regulatory Authority (ERA) Profile
The Electricity Regulatory Authority (ERA) is a statutory body established in accordance with the Electricity Act, 1999 (Chapter 145, Laws of Uganda). The Act empowers ERA to regulate the Generation, Transmission, Sale, Export, Import and Distribution of electrical energy in Uganda.
Job Summary:
The Administration Officer (Technical) will monitor the technical maintenance of the Smart Building Management System and provide administrative services in line with ERA administrative policies and procedures.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain the operations of the Smart Building Management System (BMS)
- Take charge of maintenance of ERA Office premises and supervise the work of outsourced service providers.
- Conduct regular tests and ensure compliance with standard systematic requirements of all equipment in order to guarantee total functionality of the Premises
- Ensure timely engraving of all newly acquired equipment, servicing and repairs of various office equipment and building.
- Make requisitions for premises access cards, configure staff in the system for access and time attendance
- Monitor CCTV camera screen, identify and report irregular incidents.
- Maintain an updated record of office furniture, equipment and other accessories, and ensure timely payment of utility bills.
Minimum Qualifications
- The applicant must hold an Honors Bachelor’s Degree in Building/Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline from recognized University/Institution
- Three (3) years relevant working experience in a reputable organization.
- Age: Below 30 years of age.
