Job Title: Client Analyst- Infrastructure & Energy (1 Position)

Reporting To: Sector Head- Infrastructure & Energy

Job Purpose: Reporting to the Sector Head- Infrastructure & Energy, the Client Analyst will be responsible for conducting ongoing research and analysis to enable the Sector Heads and Relationship Managers to fully understand clients’ business, context, and identify potential business opportunities for the bank. The role holder will interpret research findings and analytics, make recommendations regarding potential opportunities or risks, and support the sector team with managing client service requests.

Key Accountabilities:

  1. Client and Industry Research and Analysis:
    • Conduct research on clients, their business, operations, and performance, as well as trends in their specific industries.
    • Compile and analyze information regarding sales activity and business pipeline.
  2. Client Relationship Management:
    • Interact and liaise with clients to provide or request information, assist in deal execution, and gather critical information for the bank.
  3. Support the Credit Process:
    • Assist the Sector Head and Relationship Managers in the Credit process, including Credit applications and compliance-related issues.
    • Act as an escalation point for identified risks to the Sector Head and Chief Corporate and Institutional Banking Officer.

Qualifications, Experience, and Competencies Required:

  • University Graduate with relevant business experience.
  • Skills in Sales, Credit & Relationship Management will be an added advantage.
  • Track record in sales management.
  • 3 years’ experience in banking, with 1-2 years in Customer relationship management & sales.
  • Proficiency in computer applications.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Self-driven, motivated, and able to work under minimum supervision.
  • Excellent relationship management skills.
