Job Summary:
The Forensics & Investigations Officer will conduct fraud appraisals and investigations for suspected fraud incidents. They will ensure adherence to company policy and best practices, employing lawful fraud examination techniques and evidence gathering procedures.
Qualifications, Knowledge, and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, economics, law, or a relevant field.
- Certification or training in crime or fraud detection is advantageous.
- Minimum of two years’ experience in the microfinance industry, with expertise in loan underwriting or appraisal processes.
- At least one year of experience in fraud investigations.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills with attention to detail.
- Knowledge of the criminal justice system.
