Job Title: Branch Manager

Responsibilities:
- Drive business growth through increasing loan and deposit portfolios, expanding customer base, and enhancing non-funded income.
- Develop and execute marketing strategies to promote bank products/services, including cross-selling and referrals.
- Conduct performance assessments of staff, ensuring productivity, and holding regular business review meetings.
- Oversee HR management, including cascading branch performance targets, appraising staff, and managing leave uptake.
- Ensure proper administration and logistics, overseeing bank assets, and compliance with policies and procedures.
- Manage risk and compliance by adhering to regulatory guidelines, conducting spot checks, and enforcing internal controls.
- Focus on delivering excellent customer service, maintaining good customer relationships, and adhering to service standards.
- Review, consolidate, and monitor branch budgets, including staff and capital expenditures, while minimizing expenses.
- Provide leadership by coordinating branch activities, representing the bank at events, and evaluating operations for risk assessment.
Minimum Qualifications and Competencies:
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Marketing, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum three years’ experience in banking or similar environment, with at least two years in supervisory role.
- Strong understanding of branch banking operations, product features, and customer service.
- Leadership, critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Computer literacy and organizational skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and in the field.
- High level of integrity, self-initiative, and interpersonal skills.
