POSITION OVERVIEW:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to lead our Information Technology Department as the Head of IT. This position offers a unique opportunity to shape the academic direction of our IT program, drive curriculum development, and lead initiatives that integrate technology seamlessly into our educational offerings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership and vision for the Information Technology Department’s academic programs.
- Develop and teach undergraduate programs offered by the department.
- Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of network infrastructure.
- Develop and enforce policies and procedures related to cyber security and data protection.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Terminal degree (Ph.D., Ed.D., or equivalent) in Informational Technology or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT Education, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Proficiency in networking and cyber security practices.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
