Role Summary:
The Brewery Logistics Manager oversees the operations of the logistics function at the Depot. They ensure that warehousing and transportation are conducted in a safe, efficient, and cost-effective manner, aligning with the T2 Logistics Strategy and the Distribution Process Optimization process.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide coaching and mentoring for continuous improvement and high performance.
- Manage employees to maintain a healthy industrial relations climate.
- Develop engagement plans and set achievable KPIs for direct reports.
- Ensure compliance with Logistics DPO and VPO requirements.
- Manage contractors against Service Level Agreements.
- Achieve customer service objectives and widen competitor gap.
- Develop and manage operational budgets and forecasts.
- Optimize fleet management and uphold company image.
- Govern company assets in line with policy and procedure.
- Oversee warehouse operations to ensure stock availability and quality.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:
- Relevant 3-year tertiary degree/diploma, preferably in Supply Chain and/or Logistics.
- 3+ years of experience in an operational FMCG or similar environment.
- Demonstrated ability to engage and inspire people.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to make recommendations.
- Knowledge of shipping, freight, and forwarding practices.
- Familiarity with financial and legal requirements associated with exporting.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications at an advanced level.
