The Journey:

As an Operations Analyst, your journey begins with understanding Uganda’s operational landscape to optimize fleet strategies and enhance key metrics. You’ll lead projects aimed at operational excellence, analyzing data, identifying insights, and implementing solutions. Your role will involve:

  • Improving courier profitability, supply-demand balance, delivery times, and logistics features through data-driven insights.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Contributing to the Glovo lifecycle, especially during peak events, and coordinating supply forecasts for multiple cities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in analytics with a strong passion for problem-solving.
  • Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets; SQL and Python knowledge are advantageous.
  • Experience with visualization tools like Tableau, Looker, or Qlikview.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Proactive, organized, and detail-oriented mindset.
  • Empathetic, inclusive, and curious attitude.
