Qualifications:
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in medical education or Post Graduate Diploma in Medical Education.
- Registered and in possession of a valid practicing license from the Uganda Nurses and Midwives Council.
- Minimum of one year of experience working or training in a pharmaceutical space.
- Fluent in English.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Patient Care: Provide high-quality pharmaceutical care services to patients in accordance with established protocols and guidelines.
- Medication Management: Monitor medication inventory levels, conduct audits, and coordinate medication orders and deliveries to ensure adequate stock.
- clinicPesa: Educate patients on preparing for their healthcare needs by creating clinicPesa accounts and saving towards healthcare expenses.
- Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations governing pharmacy practice.
- Communication and Collaboration: Effectively communicate with patients, caregivers, and healthcare providers to facilitate coordinated patient care.
- Professional Development: Maintain competency and proficiency in pharmacy practice through ongoing education and training.
