The United Nations Volunteers (UNV) programme contributes to peace and development through volunteerism worldwide. We work with partners to integrate qualified, highly motivated and well-supported UN Volunteers into development programming and promote the value and global recognition of volunteerism. UNV is administered by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and reports to the UNDP/UNFPA/UNOPS Executive Board.
About Project:
This project will train and give business start-up loans to women and youths. The organization will entrust you to manage our donors as well. 10 volunteers will be required to raise project awareness, 2 volunteers will manage our project virtually, 4 volunteers will develop fundraising strategies for the project, 4 volunteers will manage our donors by writing thank you and update on the project and send to donors but you will not be required to ask for funds from donors.
Job Summary:
We need project advocates who will help to raise awareness of our project. This will further extend your role to manage our organization’s project virtually and on site if its ok with you, develop strategies to fundraise for our project will give financial access to women and youth of Uganda through groups loans.
Minimum Qualifications for UN Volunteers Uganda Jobs 2022
- Required experience: Online fundraising, Proposal writing, marketing, administration and graphics design.
- Languages: English, Level: Working knowledge, Desirable
