Roles and Responsibilities

  • Writing and testing code for new programs and computer instructions for the Board.
  • Coding, editing source-code and debugging the Board’s EMIS.
  • Automating, and updating programs and software solutions.
  • Identifying and correcting coding system and programme errors.
  • Managing database systems
  • Rewriting and maintaining programs for different operating systems.
  • Implementing build systems
  • Providing technical support
  • Collaborating with other software developers in the creation of programs
  • Secure programs against cybersecurity threats.
  • Perform any other duties assigned to him/her from time to time.

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • An honours degree in Computer Science or Computer Programming from a
    reputable Institution.
  • A bias in algorithm and coding languages, including C++, Java, SQL, C#, HTML
    and others.
  • 20-40 years of age at entry
