Job Title: CUSTOMER CARE AND BACKOFFICE ASSISTANT

About this Job: Q-Sourcing Limited, trading as Q-Sourcing Servtec, is a manpower management solutions firm operating in the East African Region, including Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, and South Sudan. We are currently seeking competent, skilled, and experienced individuals to fill the position of Customer Care and Backoffice Assistant to work in Uganda on behalf of our client.

Job Summary: The Customer Care and Backoffice Assistant will be responsible for coordinating order receiving from customers and the sales team, recording them, organizing them into routes, and overseeing invoicing and printing of dispatch and route documents.

Responsibilities:

  • Order printing and logging
  • Follow up orders with the sales team as per the tracking form and distribution plan
  • Managing emails in relation to orders
  • Vetting orders based on guidelines given by the sales team
  • Vehicle coordination of both branch and HQ truck for loading date
  • Route planning of local deliveries (Kampala)
  • Generating and printing route lists and supporting loading sheets
  • Filing of route documents and credit notes
  • Overseeing walk-in and function clients
  • Maintaining an up-to-date database of customer contacts
  • Achieving seamless & timely deliveries through proper route planning
  • Following up on stock availability with the office administrator
  • Coordinating account unblocking with the credit department in the head office
  • Filing invoices, route plans, loading sheets, sales return forms, freezer collection forms

Qualifications:

  • Degree in business management or any related field
  • At least one year’s experience in customer service
  • Proficiency in MS Office packages
  • Strong technical skills
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • High speed and accuracy in data input
  • Ability to set priorities, identify, and address problems
