Job Summary:

Street Child is seeking detail-oriented individuals to collect data across its various programs. The Enumerator will be responsible for administering and entering all program-related baseline, midterm, and end-line surveys, starting from data collection to data entry. Enumerators will work in the field under the guidance and supervision of the Research Analyst.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct data collection activities in assigned schools, including administering surveys, assessments, and observations.
  • Ensure accurate and ethical data collection, adhering to Street Child’s Safeguarding Policy.
  • Collaborate effectively with the program team and provide regular progress updates.
  • Report any safeguarding concerns or challenges faced during data collection.

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field (Education, Social Sciences, etc.).
  • Proficiency in using computers and mobile devices for efficient data entry and uploading.
  • Must have completed university studies 1-2 years ago and have experience in data collection or research, preferably in the education sector.
  • Resident within the preferred district.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluency in English and the local language:
    • Kiryandongo: Luo, Juba Arabic
    • Palabek: Acholi, Juba Arabic
    • Kyaka II: Swahili
    • Kyangwali: Swahili
