About the Scholarship: The 2024 ICPAU Scholarship Programme (SSP) offers financial aid to students aspiring to pursue the Certified Public Accountants (CPA) course. Launched in 2019, the program has already benefited fifty (50) deserving individuals.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Open to Bachelor’s Degree holders from any academic discipline or background.
- Qualifications must be from public or private chartered universities recognized by the National Council for Higher Education (NCHE).
- Applicants must have completed their Bachelor’s Degree program in 2023.
- Must have achieved either a First Class Honours or Second Class Honours – Upper Division grade.
Scholarship Details:
- The scholarship covers all ICPAU-related costs, including registration, annual renewal, examination fees, and study materials.
- There are 10 available slots for the scholarship program.
Terms and Conditions:
- Successful students are expected to complete the CPA course within 2.5 years from the time of registration.
- The scholarship will not be used for re-sitting examination papers.
Application Requirements:
- A 300-word essay explaining why you aspire to become a professional accountant.
- Academic transcript.
