Job Summary:
The Procurement and Logistics Manager will be in charge of ensuring the implementation and compliance of Corporate Purchasing Policy, will be responsible for managing and coordinating the teams and activities inherent to the Purchase and Logistics, maximizing efficiency and productivity levels, developing and managing Suppliers of Materials, Services and Equipment, that allow the acceleration of business’ profitability, guaranteeing the best availability and the best cost.
Roles and responsibilities:
- Developing procurement strategies that are inventive and cost-effective.
- Sourcing and engaging reliable suppliers and vendors.
- Negotiating with suppliers and vendors to secure advantageous terms.
- Reviewing existing contracts with suppliers and vendors to ensure on-going feasibility.
- Building and maintaining long-term relationships with vendors and suppliers.
- Approving purchase orders and organizing and confirming delivery of goods and services.
- Performing risk assessments on potential contracts and agreements.
- Controlling the procurement budget and promoting a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs.
- Overseeing and managing the IT systems that track shipments, inventory, and the supply of goods.
- Preparing procurement reports.
Qualifications
- Training in management and/or Relevant Engineering;
- At least five years’ work experience in similar function / levels of responsibility (ideally on multinational and/or international context);
- Experience in construction and/or Industrial environment (preferential);
- Solid knowledge of SAP and Collaborative tools (Microsoft Teams);
- Fluent in English (mandatory);
- Management/ Operative coordination (Focus Supply Chain);
- Project management, contractual management.
