Job Title: Certification Officer – Agri Exim Uganda Jobs 2021

Agri Exim Limited Profile:
Agri Exim is the producer of certified-organic, all-natural, non-GMO organic products. We work with over 17,000 farmers across four countries to deliver the highest quality food, fibres and other organic products.
Job Summary:
Ensure the projects are compliant and with updated documentation necessary for certification.
Roles and responsibilities:
- Ensure traceability details which include payment vouchers, daily purchase sheets and internal dispatch notes are in place and readily available during the procurement season.
- Carry out internal inspection of different project location for both seasons in a year.
- Ensure the external audit goes smoothly by coordinating and assisting in the whole process.
- Prepare the documentation of Projects as per the requirement of ICS and ensure all the documents related to operations are up to date. These documents are farmer agreement, farm diary, farm map internal inspection checklist, overview map and route map
- Ensure that the data collection has been done from each farmer in both seasons of the year.
- Train field officers on the compliance requirements, ICS, documentation, all required for a successful audit process.
- Submit a daily report on the project progress on matters related to certification compliance.
- Ensure that the conflict-of-interest document is signed before the audit.
Qualifications
- Diploma or BSc. Agriculture
Work Experience
- Experience in certification standards like NOP, EU, BIO-SUISSE is an added advantage
- Knowledge in spreadsheets and data management.
