Job Title: SEATINI Uganda Graduate Trainee & Internship Program
Organization: Southern and Eastern Africa Trade Information and Negotiations Institute (SEATINI)
Duty Station: Kampala
Duration: Maximum period of 6 months.
Key responsibilities:
- Cultivate a new generation of critical thinkers, policy analysts, researchers, and leaders, offering exposure and opportunities to contribute to the quest for social justice; ‘‘Haki Ya Jamii’’.
- Scope: Participants will engage in research, policy analysis, and advocacy, applying academic knowledge in practical settings.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Development Studies, Law, Economics, Information Technology, Multimedia/Interactive Design, Journalism, or related fields.
- Proficiency in English with excellent communication skills.
- Required soft skills: Problem-solving, teamwork, creativity, and interpersonal skills.
Compensation:
- Unpaid positions, inclusive of lunch and transport allowances.
- Logistical support was provided for work-related tasks.
