Job Description:

True North Africa is seeking a Digital Marketing Specialist to join our team in Uganda. As a Digital Marketing Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing online and digital campaigns aligned with our annual objectives. You will be responsible for creating engaging digital content for various platforms including intranet, website, blogs, videos, podcasts, and social media, while adhering to key messaging and brand guidelines.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement corporate, operations, and special projects online and digital campaigns in line with annual objectives.
• Create digital content for intranet, website, blogs, videos, podcasts, and social media, ensuring alignment with key messaging and brand guidelines.
• Monitor and maintain awareness of the brand’s reputation, as well as that of its partners and relevant stakeholders.
• Keep abreast of industry trends and digital marketing best practices.
• Analyze campaign performance metrics and adjust strategies as needed to optimize results.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive brand messaging across all digital channels.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
• Proven experience in digital marketing, with a focus on campaign development and content creation.
• Strong understanding of digital marketing tools and platforms, including social media management tools, content management systems, and analytics software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and adherence to brand guidelines.
• Experience in the advertising industry is a plus.
