About Finding XY:
Finding XY is seeking an exceptional apprentice in the Project Officer role to realize our vision of effective internal and external project conceptualization and execution, meeting the objectives and expectations of key stakeholders. The Project Officer will be responsible for managing multiple projects simultaneously under the guidance and supervision of their line manager.


  • Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans, encompassing key milestones, workstreams, and activities, to ensure efficient project delivery within the established scope and budget.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage stakeholders to define project scope and objectives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and technical feasibility.
  • Performance Management: Establish and oversee integrated project performance databases for multiple projects, delivering regular status reports to project teams, management, and stakeholders.
  • Scope Management: Implement processes throughout the project lifecycle to manage scope, set quality and performance standards, and identify, assess, and mitigate risks.
  • Resource Allocation: Efficiently allocate and monitor resources to optimize project efficiency and enhance deliverable outputs.
  • Risk Reporting: Report project change outcomes and risks to relevant management channels, adjusting project scope, schedule, and budget as necessary.
  • Best Practices Application: Apply industry best practices, techniques, and standards to ensure successful project execution.
  • Team Coordination: Coordinate with cross-project team members to ensure alignment with project requirements, deadlines, and schedules.
  • Deliverable Review and Reporting: Review project deliverables and draft reports that maintain adherence to established quality standards.
  • Post-Project Evaluation: Conduct post-project evaluations to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements and derive valuable lessons.
  • Fulfill any additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.


  • Minimum 1 year of project management/support experience, demonstrating successful project delivery.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, facilitating effective team collaboration.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project management, or any relevant field required.
  • Background in Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) is considered an advantage.
