mPharma, a dynamic healthcare startup dedicated to making medications more affordable, is offering a Data Analyst Internship Program (DAIP) in Uganda. This 6-month hybrid internship provides hands-on experience in data analytics, predictive analytics, data visualization, and more, using cutting-edge tools and processes.
Position Description: As a Data Analyst Intern, you’ll work on real-world data analysis projects across various business functions such as marketing, sales, finance, supply chain, and health services. You’ll collaborate with a diverse group of stakeholders, providing insights, solutions, and supporting the implementation of analytics requests. Each intern will be assigned a manager and a mentor for guidance throughout the program.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support data analysis in multiple product areas.
- Assist with ad hoc analysis for informed decision-making.
- Help implement analytics request and prioritization systems.
- Develop and implement QA processes for data validation.
- Ensure data quality standards are maintained.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of one year of professional experience in data analysis.
- Proficiency in writing SQL queries.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Metabase or Power BI.
- Data-driven mindset with a passion for metrics and continuous improvement.
- Fluency in English.
- Legal right to work in Uganda, Kenya, Nigeria, or Ghana.
