Job Summary:
The Electrical Engineer Intern will be responsible for overseeing all electrical maintenance and project-related works at TotalEnergies’ Retail stations in Uganda.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Inspect and advise on electrical systems and electronic equipment using drawings and measuring equipment.
- Ensure the reliability of electrical equipment at all TotalEnergies’ sites.
- Design and implement sustainable earthing systems for various sites.
- Operate electrical measurement apparatus and conduct comprehensive electrical audits in compliance with group standards, sharing detailed reports and recommendations.
- Utilize a CMMS program for tracking and recording information.
- Compile data to generate reports on quality inspection, control, and improvement.
- Communicate daily progress of assigned work to relevant stakeholders.
- Issue recommendations and ensure compliance with technical specifications for major projects.
- Maintain and develop technical knowledge in the field by defining and drafting electrical specifications, operating methods, and processes.
- Ensure the safety and compliance of all electrical installations at TotalEnergies’ sites.
- Participate in the planning for the purchase of new equipment.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum of three years of experience in electrical maintenance works.
- Valid driving license.
- Electrical installation certificate.
- Strong team player with good interpersonal skills.
